American K

This is an American made K Zildjian. Not made in Turkey, not a K Zildjian Istanbul. Made by Avedis Zildjian. They were produced with this stamp from 1981 to 1993. Laser stamps with serial numbers came after this period so you also see people call these "pre serial".

This production period is divided into Early and Intermediate and the cymbals are nicknamed EAK (Early American K) and IAK (Intermediate American K).
